ABOUT WILL

Will Jenkins is an exciting young motorsport driver currently embarking on the latest chapter of his car-racing career in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB.

Jenkins, from Stone in Staffordshire, started competing in club level motorcross at just six years of age and made a brilliant start, earning his first championship win in only his second year of competition. A couple of years later he progressed onto four wheels in karting.

Moving his way through the Rotax karting ranks in recent years, the 17-year-old enjoyed a standout 2019 campaign. With leading squad KR Sport, he won the final round of the Motorsport UK Junior British Karting Championship and was also a front-runner in the European BNL Series.

The hotly-rated talent entered the Ginetta Junior Scholarship at the end of the year and from an entry of 65 drivers, Jenkins made it through to the final five. Buoyed by that performance, he elected to enter the championship in 2020 and make his car-racing debut.

Over the course of his debut campaign, Jenkins highlighted his great potential with a brilliant pair of rookie class podium finishes and regular overall top ten results.

Returning the following year with multiple champions Elite Motorsport, an excellent performance saw him finish fifth in the final championship standings, having picked up no less than eight overall podium results.

Jenkins remained with Elite for a step up the Ginetta ladder to the GT5 Challenge for 2022. A sensational campaign saw him pick up more race wins and podium finishes than anyone else as he took the title battle down to the final race of the season, eventually securing runners-up honours.

With that experience and success under his belt, he progressed to the next step on the GT racing ladder in 2023 with an entry into the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. A brilliant debut season saw him score six podium finishes including a breakthrough victory at Donington Park.

Jenkins returns for a second season in the championship this year with reigning champions Team Parker Racing, targeting a title challenge in a brand-new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS as he continues to pursue his ambition of becoming a professional racing driver.

"Alliance Racing has a great history of supporting young drivers in their motorsport careers and we’re delighted to support Will. He’s hugely impressed us with his performances for many years and he enjoyed a successful first season in Porsche racing."
