Will Jenkins Crowned 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Vice-Champion

Will Jenkins has wrapped up second position in the final 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup GB standings, after bringing his fantastic season to a close with two strong results in the final round at Brands Hatch (10-11 October).
Jenkins has been a force to be reckoned with throughout his second Carrera Cup GB season. Securing three pole positions in the opening three rounds and a brilliant maiden overall victory at Snetterton, he ended up finishing in the PRO class top three in 12 of the 16 races.
Returning to the scene of a spectacular triple victory in the Sprint Challenge GB two years prior, the Staffordshire racer showed encouraging pace from the off again around the Brands Hatch Grand Prix layout as he lapped fourth quickest at the end of Friday’s free practice sessions.
Jenkins, who is competing as part of the Wera Alliance Academy, sadly saw qualifying not go his way however. A small mistake behind the wheel cost him the opportunity of improving in the final few minutes of the session, dropping him down from the top three to seventh in the times.
The Team Parker Racing ace was confident of the pace in his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car heading into the final race day of the season though. A great start to the opener saw him gain a position off the line, before benefitting from a mistake from a driver ahead to slot into fifth.
Following a safety car period, the Stone-based driver was straight back on the offensive as he grabbed fourth with a slick move into Graham Hill Bend. From there, he was hot on the heels of the final podium contender but had to settle for fourth-place at the chequered flag.
Crucially, that result earned Jenkins the reverse grid pole position for race two in front of the live ITV4 television cameras. A good launch secured him the lead initially, however a slight moment through Druids corner led to him slipping back to second position.
Running well in a four-way battle at the front of the field as the race developed, he found himself in the unenviable position of trying to attack and defend at the same time. A dive down the inside by another driver forced him wide at Surtees, ultimately shuffling him back to another fourth-place result.

Jenkins has competed this season thanks to the crucial support of his loyal personal partners Asset Alliance Group, The Reefer Trailer Centre, Hopkins Race Transporters, Barkers Finance, SAF Holland, The Green Group and WS Transportation.
Will Jenkins: “I’m incredibly proud to finish second overall in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB. It’s been a fantastic season that has well exceeded my expectations and I’m extremely happy with the achievement for myself, my family, Team Parker Racing and all of my loyal partners.
“I came into the weekend knowing what I needed to do to secure second in the points, so it was mission accomplished in that sense. Sadly we didn’t quite have the front-running pace we’d have hoped for, and qualifying certainly put me on the back foot for race day.
“It was solid progress in race one and it was great to get the reverse grid pole from that. Although we made an improvement with the car, it still wasn’t quite enough and it was frustrating to end up just missing out on a trip to the podium to finish off the season.
“It takes nothing away from what has been a really positive season for me. I’ve made big strides forward as a driver and proven that I can race at the front and win in one of the most competitive championships in the UK. I’m excited to see what next season brings now.”
Jenkins is pursuing some exciting opportunities for the 2027 race season, and has great commercial packages available for prospective partners to join him for the next stage of his career. Interested parties can get in touch via the contact page.
